Day by day, the Iowa Hawkeyes 2022 season becomes more clear. On Thursday afternoon, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported that Fran McCaffery's squad has added Portland State to their non-conference slate. There is no official date for this game. The Vikings finished last season with a 9-13 record, including going 2-6 on the road.

Two more opponents have been added to Iowa’s 2021-22 nonconference men’s basketball schedule.

Western Michigan (5-16 last season) plays at Iowa on Nov. 22, Portland State on Nov. 26.
