• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Wine And Roses Recap: Breaking Records Again In 2015
http://goviks.com/news/2015/6/11/WR_0611154915.aspx

Portland State Athletics' Night of Wine and Roses was better than ever in 2015. Guests for the annual evening of giving for Vikings' Athletics scholarships were able to meet some 200 student-athletes in attendance, get to know new Director of Athletics Mark Rountree, and see the bold new look of the Viking Pavilion project - now a reality for Viking Athletics.

But most important of all was the bottom line. Portland State supporters, alumni and friends contributed some $440,000 to Viking Athletics. That is $80,000 more than 2014 and an increase of more than 20% in giving in one year.

Highlights of the Wine and Roses auction included trips to the Rose Bowl, the Final Four, Tuscany and South Africa.

Once again, Wine and Roses sponsors Evergreen GaveKal and The Burns Brothers came through the help host the event and make it a huge success.

Tygue Howland has a tremendous voice. He ought to be included in the radio broadcasts for football as a sideline announcer and work up from there.

Wine and Roses Has Biggest Fund-Raising Night In PSU History

The 2016 Wine and Roses was the biggest and best ever for Portland State Athletics!

The bottom line was PSU Athletics generated $529,841 from live and silent auction items and donations throughout the evening from the more than 525 guests that attended. This was an increase of $90,000 over 2015 and the most money ever raised at Wine and Roses.

In addition, Portland State Athletics revealed its complete rebrand to the attendees. The new Viking Athletics logo and branding was a big hit and supporters on hand were the first to receive new Viking swag!

"The tremendous support that we have seen from our donors, alumni and fans in the past year is making such a difference in these student-athletes' lives. Wine and Roses proved it again with the best fund-raising night we have ever had at Portland State," said Director of Athletics Mark Rountree.

Portland State Athletics thanks all the tremendous donors who made this record-breaking event possible with a special thank you to Presenting Sponsor Evergreen GaveKal. The record-breaking night is yet another example of the excitement Portland State Athletics has generated in the Portland community.
