Re: Big Sky Attendance 2017

No, in some accounting maze of circular logic there may have been 9450 "sold" but there was not 9450 in attendance. We've already well established that fake attendance is what's most important, not how many are actually out supporting the program. Everybody does it though, so it's OK. I will say, ho...

Re: UC DAVIS AGGIES

Awesome win by the Wildcats and great conditions to watch the game in. Defense looks likes they cleaned a few thing up. Either that, or the D-line was just too dominating that it masked any deficiencies. I do worry that we weren't able to see much in the way of sustained drives by the offense, inste...

Re: UC DAVIS AGGIES

I like what's going on here at WSU. I don't believe Davis is this bad, but I'm becoming more of a Believer. Something really good is going on at Weber. There's that and of course the altitude, cold, and rain.

Re: BIG SKY POWER RANKINGS: First week of league play

UNC up 40-30 on ISU going into the 4th.

...and now UNC down 40-42 with 5 minutes to go. I'm rooting for ISU but have my doubts about them topping the Power Rankings.

...and UNC wins 43-42 with the field goal as time expires. I'm guessing ISU is no longer #1.

Re: UC DAVIS AGGIES

Stewart Stadium sits at about 4,760' but no, not huge elevation like NAU, Wyoming, or Air Force. "Cold weather would effect both teams the same way." Olds, I disagree with this too. If I'm a HC, I've got my team practicing all week in the colder temps so they've got some familiarity with it going in...

Re: UC DAVIS AGGIES

Gotta disagree with you there oldrunner. Altitude certainly has an effect. I never thought Ogden had a high enough elevation to really be an advantage like NAU has, but altitude absolutely has an effect with in-game recovery. No one takes 40 seconds between plays these days either. Altitude most de...

Re: UC DAVIS AGGIES

UC Davis has the #1 pass offense right now in the Big Sky, Weber has the #1 pass defense in the Big Sky. Sets up quite the matchup. I will say that after watching our game @ Sac we really need to make sure we don't get beat deep, cause UC Davis' QB is far more accurate than Sac's and he will burn u...

Re: UC DAVIS AGGIES

I'm pretty excited to watch this game. If any Davis fans are planning on making the trip to Ogden, please be aware that the Weather is supposed to be quite turbulent the second half of the week. Saturday is going to have late October type temperatures for kickoff. By the time the game ends, temps c...

Re: Jazz sign joel

This whole Hayward initiated mess sure seems to be playing out bad for Joel as I suspected it might. His ability to stick with the Jazz is still dependent on what he can give but it sure looks like an up hill battle at this point :-( https://www.deseretnews.com/article/865689124/Utah-Jazz-must-cut-o...

Re: Sacramento State

I watched it on Pluto, wirelessly, to my laptop PC, then connected to a big screen TV and the quality was as good as anything I ever remember from the past and had no issues whatsoever. I watched the Montana-Western game the same way but from the laptop screen (not connected to a TV) and the video q...

Re: Sacramento State

Me thinks that was tougher than it should have been but we'll certainly take the win. I saw a little Jeckel & Hyde both within this game and between this game and the first two. I hope they can have a good practice week, fix some things that were exposed, and take care of Homecoming business. The Da...

Re: Sacramento State

That was really needed and a long time coming. Scary how Weber went from looking dominant to bad on both sides of the ball. Followed by a special teams breakdown. Focus Weber! Get a win.

The only I'm not enjoying is seeing our starting QB carry the ball so much. Taking a lot of hits.
I thought this last week, too, but if that's his style of play I guess play to his strength and to win.

Re: Big Sky Tournament Moving?

The announcement isn't a huge shock. We have known it was Boise for over a month now. What needs to be asked is, why does the conference feel this is a good format? Issues with Reno? 1. Hard to travel to. Flying into Reno is extremely expensive and driving can be a nightmare. 2. Geographically it i...

Re: Cal game

What do you get for nearly knocking off a P-5 team? You drop a spot in both national polls. :ohno: :wtf: :willybs: Yeah, no one looked at the game, just saw the 20-33 result and assumes Cal was using it as a tune-up game, not fighting for their lives. No one knows Weber led every quarter and after ...
