Re: Roos Field Renovation

Timing is everything! The biggest problem is this should have been built years ago and this Covid problem would not be the nail that killed the project @ Eastern.
When Dr. A left EWU the best chance for a new stadium went with him.

Re: Concered for the worldwide economy

In order to begin to get back to something we think of normal, 1st treatment, whether that be Hydroxychlorquin, remdisivir, or ?? Now there is not much that can be done other than keep the patient comfortable as possible and wait for the virus to run its course. 2nd a temporary immunity that may com...

Fall football isn't guaranteed at this point either.
Right, I feel for the seniors if the season is lost, bad way to end your career.

Maybe some good news

When the dust all settles out from Covid-19 a positive result might be that more classes will be on-line and all universities will need 1/2 the current number of professors. With the savings there could be a lot more spend on athletics!

Senior night

It did not happen for Tyler on senior night either. Generally seniors get a start on senior night but not Tyler, and he did not see ANY time. What could have happened so bad that he does not get to play at all?

Re: Griz losing streak

When is the last time the Griz lost two @ home? Well they just did this weekend! SUU broke a 15 game losing streak in spike to typical Big Sky homer game refereeing for the Griz. I just watched the end of that game. Went to overtime. It's hard to explain how the Griz gave up first place over the la...

I heard through the rumor mill that there is another letter to the board signed by past profs and staffers supporting EWU athletics. Anyone else heard such a rumor?

Magnusen

I was quite critical of Ellis earlier in the season and I still think deservedly so, but I'll give credit where it is due and he played an awesome game tonight!

Lets get serious

There has been one major donation by a very generous local fan, other than that donations have been lunch money at best. At this rate the stadium remodel will never be completed. Asking our athletic director to take on this additional task (a 25 million dollar side job) is too much to ask. IMO the b...

Athletics

The reality is athletics is a cost of doing business in the world of higher education. The question should be should athletics be competitive with their peer institutions?
