EWU has only 10 games scheduled with 2 bye weeks not sure which is better....
In the eyes of the playoff committee, we also only have 10 games. EWU has week 1 open and their athletics department posted a multi-million dollar deficit. They might travel to Sac for $50 and half of a Snickers bar if we ask nicely.
Agreed. :lol:

Seriously, why wouldn’t we host EWU? And return the favor next time we don’t play each other in conference???

The 2018 schedule is now posted and it's a huge dumpster fire IMO, mostly because of the opening game against a weak NAIA opponent, where a win doesn't get us any closer to the FCS Playoffs, but a poor performance could eliminate us...

Anyways, here's how I see this playing out - with the cupcake at the beginning coming back to haunt us...

ST. FRANCIS - W 52-21 (1-0, 0-0)
@San Diego State - L 31-3 (1-1, 0-0)
@ UNC - W 42-35 (2-1, 0-0)
@ UM - L 45-24 (2-2, 0-1)
CAL POLY - W 24-20 (3-2, 1-1)
@SUU - L 31-7 (3-3, 1-2)
UND - W 38-30 (4-3, 2-2)
PSU - W 38-17 (5-3, 3-2)
@Weber - L 20 - 7 (5-4, 3-3)
NAU - W 35-31 (6-4, 4-3)
@ UC Dungpile - W 56-35 (7-4, 5-3)
I still like this prediction, I don't see more than 6 DI wins this year - hope I'm wrong...

There ain't no way we're losing to SUU, especially by THAT much. I don't see us losing to BBQ, either. SDSU is vulnerable. I see the potential for an undefeated season here, with the two most likely losses at SDSU and at the Griz.

The Sky is the limit if Thomson stays healthy. We'll know what this team is about at montucky. That'll be the 3rd straight road game heading into probably the toughest road environment in the BSC (Hornets are the better team). I think there is a solid chance the Hornets are 3-1 heading into the bye.

Playoffs or bust.
