2017 Sac State Gymnastics starts off season ranked 20th in the nation

Congratulations to our Hornets being ranked #20 in the nation in the first poll of the season.

Last Monday they started off the young season with a 2nd place finish at a meet at #10 Cal, finishing 2nd behind the Golden Bears and ahead of #11 Stanford (first win over Stanford in school history) and ahead of #30 UC Davis and San Jose State who rounded out the schools at the meet in Berkeley.

And last night the Hornets started off the MPFS season with a win against the San Jose Spartans at Hornet Gym. Perhaps our ranking nationally will go up next week.

Up next for Sac State is a meet at Air Force.

another victory today for the Hornets at Air Force as we are now 5-1 but somehow slipped to #24 in the national rankings during the past week .
