Looking at the '09-'10 roster on goviks.com today we only have eight scholarship players listed:

Visockis is still on there too, but he's going to transfer to a lower division school before the beginning of the next season. We already knew that Mara was transferring to a school in Canada, and someone pointed out that Wendell Wright wasn't on the roster any more (has anyone heard any more info on his plans?), but the big surprise is that Coston isn't listed any more. That's weird because I recall him being interviewed after Geving was hired and it sounded like he was sticking around. If he is truly gone I have mixed feelings, he has been easily the most frustrating player to watch over the last couple of years, but his size and shooting ability could help us, and maybe he puts everything together in his senior season. If the roster above is correct that means four scholarships are open. One will probably go to Nathan Lozeau so that leaves three, but we should expect significant additions to this team before next season starts. I thought I would start this thread for people to post any rumors they hear with respect to filling those open spots.
The only name that I've heard so far is Tyrone White from Jefferson who was mentioned in another thread. He could be a good fit as we could use a fourth D-1 caliber guard, however he was the one to contact PSU so it's not confirmed that he would be offered a scholarship by the Viks. It will be interesting to see what develops over the spring and summer and I'd expect at least one more JC player to be added.
