That was a good coaches show tonight. The Bengals will be 3-3 after they beat Simon Fraser University and than the big game against Southern Utah at Holt Arena. How good is Southern Utah this season? They will be playing EWU at home this Saturday. A win against EWU on Saturday would change things in the BSC standings. EWU can be beat this season as they give up too many points on defense and will be without Vernon Adams for a while. The Bengals maybe in a good position to make the playoffs if they can win all of their games at home and win a couple of games on the road.
 
Simon Fraser is not a very good D2 team and the game should be a rout, and our reserves should be able to get plenty of playing time. EWU will be the toughest league team we'll play all year.
 
EWU maybe the best team we will play in league this season but we will not know until we play the other teams as the season is still early. EWU defense appears to be average at best. I do not think EWU will win league this season especially with Vernon Adams out of the lineup as EWU depends on their offense to put up a lot of points. We will find out how good EWU really is this Saturday against Southern Utah without Vernon Adams. I look for Southern Utah to win this game as their offense likes to control the clock and wear down the defense.
