10 fumbles

We've put the ball on the ground 10 times 7 of which we lost. Is 2 fumbles per game too many?

It's definitely too many. It wasn't too surprising to see Grady put it on the ground. True freshman mistake. I was surprised to see a player as experienced as Mario Brown put it on the ground so many times. He is showing a trend a lot like Montana's Nguyen. Talent and speed, but not the greatest ball control.

I knew it was a lot, but didn't realize it was that often. We need to protect the ball! The other stat I saw that was concerning was the number of sacks VA has taken this year. I believe it is 17! Two stats I hate seeing us have such high numbers in.

Defensive coordinators believe the key to stopping our offense is pressuring and stopping Vernon Adams. It probably holds some merit. All of the defense also wants a piece of him. They bring the pressure hard.
