15 Days: Catcat the A's suck

This former player is on a dI coaching staff in the WAC. They are a first yr dI I think. He was the first player from arizona during the rahe era. I think he is also the only walkon we have seen log minutes in back to back seasons. Is that correct? He also transferred his senior yr but I think is a weber grad.

This is a hard one to guess lol

Can OAkland beat LA in the world series?
The Dodgers no longer have Kirk Gibson, so the answer is yes. This cannot happen again - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U157X0jy5iw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Im hoping to see a LA vs Oakland World series and as always...
GO DODGERS GO!!!

All roads lead through Boston. And I want Detroit so my Sox don't have back-to-back cross-country series with smOakland and LA-LA-land.

:fuel: :flame:

Before a baseball thread gets locked, I sure have enjoyed the Pirates run this year. Just winning this year and getting the losing streak over would have been great, but getting to the post season has been a blast. I made three Bucco games and they went 3-0, so took the mojo with me -- and that's the same mojo I will be bringing with me to the Weber games this year. And, trust me, I've got some serious mojo going for my teams this year which started with a Ravens Super Bowl win.

Getting stoked. Sitting here with my niece who is an Aggie (WTF). Can't wait to get Stew in our house this year, and with a few games under our belt this time.

Cards and Pirates tomorrow night -- we've been resilient all year, keeping my hopes high.

Why lock an active thread on this mostly dead board? Hopefully none of the Mods will lock this.
It is great to see the Pirates relevant this year, Im pretty sure this is a first in my lifetime
GO DODGERS!!!!!

The purpose of this thread was to highlight the achievement's of Weber State's 15th player: Brady Borklund. The 6-8 F who hails from Bonneville High School is returning to the Cats after sustaining a season ending knee injury prior to the start of Fall camp last year. Borklund, shockingly enough, is the only Cat who comes from Utah on this season's roster. In high school he lead the fighting Lakes to numerous victories over Roi High School and Ogden High. These combined power-houses really lent Borklund great game experience that has prepared him for Randy Rahe's Wildcats. Here is to Brady Borklund. Let's all hope his knee issues are resolved and that he is ready to go.

Don't waste the MOJO at Stewart Stadium. USE IT AT THE DEE!!

Brady was a good player for BHS. He was fun to watch his last two years. If he sticks with it, and stays healthy, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up spending more time with the Cats.

hoping for dodgers vs oakland, 1988 rematch.

if i were betting on the WS i would think i would bet on redsox vs dodgers.

can dodgers win it all? NOT A CHANCE!

reason it is not possible for dodgers to win the NLCS
the manager of the dodgers is don mattingly. he is the bad luck guy. the longest stretch in yankees history of no world series just so happened to be don mattingly's entire career. hard to believe since he is one of the best yankees there have been.

in 1981 the dodgers beat the yankees in the WS.

Mattingly playing career: 1982-1995.

in 1996 yankees won the WS. lol. and won 3 in 4 yrs and competed in 6 WS in 8 yrs after Don retired.

mattingly went on to be an assistant coach with the yankees. the yankees couldnt get back to the series and joe torre left for the dodgers when he wasnt given a 2 yr contract. just about 5 minutes after mattingly left with torre for LA, the yankees won the world series!

now that mattingly is the dodgers manager im supposed to believe they will honestly get to the world series? hmmmm. maybe i would bet on pirates/cards winner on second thought.

the goat, the babe and bartman aint got nut'n on donny baseball. :thumb:

donny is the polar opposite of yogi! yogi as a player and coach competed in enough WS' that had he won them all he could fill all 20 of his fingers and toes with rings and still have 1 extra. he "only" won 13 rings of 21 appearances. kobe and phil? please... :ohno:
