• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

talhad,

i will do a post each day about the numbered day, who wore that jersey, and interesting factoids about each player.

Kevin Jones - 1960-1962 (the junior college era) - Had an underbite and a fixed countenance, which is you almost always saw in 3/4 view. He was considered the most odd ball of any athlete in then Weber College history. Had a compulsive laugh and grunt and habit of picking his nose at the charity stripe.

Despite his obliviousness to what should be obvious, he was always prone to moments of insight. He was also a very polite and optimistic player. He often suffered physically in games at the hands of Big Sky foes due to him being undersized. He typically would take the beatings and screams of pain before quickly reverting to his trademark laugh.

He was a smoker and exhibited an obsession with fire and his trademark phrase was "FIRE! FIRE!" which he would utter with a maniacal gaze in his eye every year at the home coming bon fire.

He also had many voices in his head, which sometimes told him to engage in destructive activities; however, generally he had a passive demeanor in contrast to his rival Roger Reid's more dominant personality. Jones also wore a red jack with a popped collar with a white tee daily. When he would consume large amounts of caffeine or sugar, he transformed into his hyperactive alter-ego, Jim Stark.
