1999 Highlight Film - WSU beating UNC

The Weber State men's basketball highlight film from the 1998-99 season was uploaded to youtube.com. The reel is divided up into 3 parts. Part 3 shows the Big Sky Championship and the NCAA Tournament game where the 'Cats took down the Tarheels of North Carolina.

The WSU upset over UNC is still considered one of the biggest upsets in NCAA tournament history. In 1998, UNC went to the Final 4. In 1999, UNC lost to WSU in the first round. In 2000, UNC went to the Final 4.

Watching those films brought back a lot of great memories... What a great year!! What if Abegglon wasn't forced into retirement?? How many more championships do you think Weber could have won?
