seems very doable by beating PSU in ogden. to get to 3-0 requires winning on the road at the montanas with bobs first. rahe has had 7 of his 15 teams start 3-0: 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019. out of his 5 reg season champions, only his 07 and 14 teams didnt get to 3-0.

i think griz and suu will get to 2-0 as well on dec 4.

SUU should beat UI. At least on paper the matchups are favorable.

I don't think that Montana can take UNCo on the road. The matchups are not favorable for UM. The Bears have all the things that the Grizz do not. I predict that UNCo wins easily.

The MSU game at Sac is an interesting one. We will see how MSU responds after a close lose at UNCo. They can either stay in the race or dig themselves a small hole.

I watched the replay of the ISU-PSU game last night. PSU did not look good, but ISU found a way to lose anyway. Both of those teams tried real hard to lose.

I don't know if it is due to being the first league game, but the D being played seems to have been turned up a notch or two. :coffee:

2-0 was great but 4-0 not so easy, toughest road trip generally, the montanas, end of month.

rahe teams to start 3-0: 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019.
rahe teams to start 4-0: 2012 (8-0), 2013 (8-0), 2016 (5-0)

It's highly unlikely that we, or anyone else, will go undefeated in League play. As always, getting road wins and not losing at home will be the key. UM and MSU already have one road win each, while SUU has two road wins. UM is playing great D to start the season. MSU is more balanced. SUU has been hot and cold. SUU managed to make Dixie look good and made UI look like a contender. Like us, UNCo has two home wins. Although, theirs were against better teams and they were much closer games.

UI, ISU, Sac, and EWU all have home loses.

This is shaping up to be an interesting season. :coffee:
