2003 team vs 2012 team

Who would you take? Boyette, Hamilton, Sparrow, Ocokolic, Bachman, Barton, Morrison, etc, or Lillard, Richardson, Bamforth, Mahoney, Tresnak, Bullinger, Otis, etc.?
Is this year's team better than the 03 team that ran the table?

03 was a "team of history." For me, at least, that team is very near and dear to my heart. Great memories!! Cravens jumping in the Weber State crowd after a W in Bozeman was unreal. That team was something else...definitely hard to say if 2012 is better.

2003 year and season is something i will never forget as well it would be hard to top that for me. i went to every home game, went to the MSU game in boze. went to the big dance too. every game we were chanting at the end which win number it was. at the championship game we had over 10,000 chanting loudly "17 straight". that was very cool.

2012 is very good, talented, one attribute 2003 had on 2012 was age. we had 7 seniors that year. that was unusual to have 12 players that were either a jr or sr.

another thing 2003 did was go undefeated in conference play. 2012 can do it but we could take another look at this thread in march. going undefeated is so hard no matter how good a team is. i think 2012 can do it and might get it done but its a lot to ask for. if 2012 runs the table they would be 18-0, thats 2 better than 2003.

the only other team in big sky history to end the yr with no losses was weber in 1969, 15-0. big sky tourney didnt start til 1976.

We might be jumping the gun with a comparison of these two teams. Perhaps we can discuss it at the end of Big Sky play if WSU can finish unbeaten, which is by no means in the bag. :bad:
