Spectacular. I want to get some Jerseys to hang at my work. I have two in shadowboxes in my home theater room. I hope they have some official basketball shorts. Sweet news!

There will be a WSU cheerleader car wash directly after the fan fest. The car wash will take place at the Country Hills chevron at 42nd & Harrison. Bring your dirtiest cars and your money, drinks and dog's will be available to purchase.

So what are the betting odds that there will actually be current rosters available to the fans who attend the fan fest? Based on last years I would say if you want a updated roster you better print your own off of the BSC website. Or you can just try and guess who is who. :D

The scrimmage went well.. Other than a pick, that went for six, the offense looked great. Cam connected on some pretty unbelieveable passes.

Defensively, the line and the backs are going to be really good. The LB's looked a bit inexperienced, but overall their speed and athleticism really made up for their unfamiliarity with the plays. With the defense I was most impressed with the back-up lineman and the backs. They are quick, tough, and strong.

Offensively, I was most impressed with Cam and the depth of the WR's and RB's. Smith and Bolen both sat out the scrimmage, but that really didn't affected the runnings game as the 3rd and 4th string RB's both looked really good. Also, the FB's, other than needed to block a bit better, and can run and catch the ball very well. I was worried that too much pressure would be put on the returning WR's and TE (Nakamura), but Halfhill (TE) and some new WR's will be able to come into games and contribute.

Mac's speech...well...I really couldn't hear much, but he did say that the defense is really quick and that, at the skill positions, there is a lot of depth. Also, he talked a bit about how the younger players could push the older, more experienced, players.

Everyone is going to be pleasantly surprised with the D line; they're going to have a great rotation, and with fresh legs, they are going to do some damage. Coach Mac is right, the younger guys are going to make a big push for playing time; we want to play the best 11 at any time, forget about seniority, suck it up, man up, or just shut up. we are here to win games not popularity contests! you want a friend, get a dog.

every week we need to keep improving from where we are...constantly...and that is how you march to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

WEBER STATE WEBER STATE GREAT GREAT GREAT

Higgins was on fire, but the back-ups didn't fare too well, so knock on wood we stay healthy at the qb spot, the line needs to protect him from taking too many hits this year. Coach Mac also said this is one of the best freshman class he has ever brought in. September 5th can't come fast enough...

SEPTEMBER 5TH, is going to be epic.....if the Oline can give Cameron some time, i think we'll be doing just fine on offense.

Defensively, fresh legs every other series with the depth we have, will keep CONSTANT PRESSURE on their QB. i expect GREAT THINGS from the front 4 this year, speed and power kills, and we got some of that this year.

Incoming freshman are pushing hard, play the best 11 at any given time, and we'll win games!!!!

The O looked very good, especially with Cam running things. The back-up RB (#35) also looked good in the absence of Smith. I enjoyed the Pick-6 from the D as it showed they aren't going to back donw.

What I REALLY liked was the no-huddle. I hope they do that outsite of 2 minute situations. The D was back on thier heals whenever that happened.

The fan turnout was decent. Hope tons of people show up for the games.

Whatever happened to the Cannon and the Purple Smoke they used to use? those were cool effects, if you want the fans to come you need to make the experiance enjoyable, but then again the Wildcats winning is an enjoyable experiance in itself, Am I right?

Wildcat, brother you are dead on!! WSU's game time production has sucked for a VERY long time. You need to make the game an event to come to. Why is WSU pretty much the only team in the nation that doesnt have an inflatable tunnel? Get a tunnel, use purple smoke, music, and basically turn the pre-game into a party.
More people will show when WSU football becomes an event and not just a game. But it all comes down to $$ and how well the marketing dept, wildcat club, and athletic department as a whole uses their budget.
