2010-11 Roster is updated

hughey will be money in 2011. last yr was his first yr in DI and he showed his skill. this year he won't have Hansen and Session in the way of minutes.

seniors at weber alway stepped up their game. look at panos last year. morris has ability. if he plays consistent we could have 3 1st teamers.

when i think of players who's game improved as seniors and became leaders on the court the following names come to mind: panos, mccoy, patten, lance allred, chris woods. all were 1st'rs except panos but he was close. 2 were big sky mvp's.

its exciting to see players' game progress especially when they were average players as underclassmen and then stars as seniors. you never know who's gonna step it up each year.

Can't Wait! I think Hughey and Lillard are going to be an awesome duo in the front court this year. I'm way excited to see the two red shirt frosh from AZ too!

Every year we have improved, tallent wise, under Randy. This year is no exception. There is not a weak link in the bunch. Both Tresnak and Hajek are still growing. Fulton may become a monster in the low post. Richardson and Bamforth can flat out shoot it. We know what all of the rest of them can do. I think it is going to be a fun year. School should be back in session in September. Its not that far off. Go Cats!!

Good to see Porter and Bamforth both have three years of eligibility left, although Porter can't play until December. Any word on who might redshirt? I would assume Hajek will, and that Richardson won't. How about Tresnak? He will probably play and backup Morris at center, right?

How's this for a depth chart?

PG - Lillard, Richardson
SG - Hughey, Bamforth, Noble
SF - Bullinger, Davis, Porter
PF - Mahoney, Fulton
C - Morris, Tresnak, Hajek

But I do think that with Lillard and Hughey being able to play both guard spots, Richardson and Noble won't play big minutes. The guard rotation will mainly be Lillard, Hughey, and Bamforth. This trio of guards will be very good, but I am concerned about the bigs. Bullinger needs to improve, and Morris and Mahoney don't give you a lot of offense. And behind them is a lot of inexperience.
