where is it? released yet? or is byu the only game this yr. :lol:

Was supposed to be released in August - I have the unofficial version at work - will check on status tomorrow.

Any word, dbackjon? I think NAU will be the last Big Sky Conference team to release their schedule. BYU (in Prescott) @ U of A, that early season tourney @ the U of San Francisco and your heads up on the game @ ASU is all I've been able to find.

Finally it is released!! http://www.nauathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2011-12/releases/20110920f9elbt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Woo hoo! Considering how hard it is to get any team to play in Flagstaff, at least there are some good teams in non-conference on the road and at neutral sites. Amazed that BYU's playing in Prescott.

Dbackjon - Will you be in attendance @ the ASU game in Tempe? Christmas season insanity be damned but I'm going.

I am going to try

Thats a nice bball schedule, what are the odds that Arizona or Arizona State would ever play at NAU? Utah after this year said they are no longer coming to the Dee which is a crock.

I think the Pac-10/12/14 has an official athletics policy to not allow their teams to play FCS teams on the road? Other than following the conference edict, it would be below many of their fans to stoop down to the Big Sky's level. It will never happen. U of Arizona played hoops in Flagstaff in 1990 or so. ASU's soccer team and ASU/UofA cross country heads up the hill on occasion. That's about it. At least ASU is scheduling NAU in hoops in Tempe again.

Yeah, that would definitely be very rare... sadly, Big Sky teams just don't get that level of teams really being willing to come to their places.

In basketball, NAU is not FCS. That is football only.

UA/ASU used to alternate coming to Flagstaff, until Lute Olson whined about it.

Cheating bastard set back NAU athletics with his temper tantrums.

Heard that Lute griped and moaned his way out of having to play @ The Pit (U of New Mexico) after getting his ego wounded with a few road losses to the Lobos. I guess I don't remember that U of A and ASU used to alternate road games in Flagstaff because when I was a kid there was no tv coverage. Lute did well for himself @ U of A but this kind of petty crap taints his legacy. He's rather schedule a handful of out of state school guaranteed wins than giving an in-state "little brother" university a bone every other year. Boo! :thumbdown:
