Both men’s and women’s track and field teams won the Big Sky Championship this week. This means they swept both indoor and outdoor championships in the Big Sky. Great job and congrats to both the athletes and coaches! 8-)
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State men's and women's track and field teams swept the team titles at the Big Sky Championships in record-breaking fashion on Saturday at Hornet Stadium.

The Hornet women won their unprecedented fourth consecutive team title, running away from the field with 236 points. Montana finished second with 133 while Eastern Washington was third at 79.

The men's team won its first Big Sky outdoor team title after a couple of second-place showings. The men scored 204.5 points to separate themselves from Northern Arizona who was second with 167.

The two wins, combined with a sweep at the indoor championships, makes Sacramento State just the third school to win all four team titles in a single season in Big Sky history joining Northern Arizona (1990) and Weber State (2002).
