7. C.J. TUCKETT, SR., WEBER STATE 2011: 662 yds, 7.9 avg, 10 TD. THE BUZZ FOR 2012: Sleeper alert! Tuckett came on like gangbusters at the end of last season, emerging from nowhere to rush for 465 yards and 8 touchdowns in Weber State's last two games. Tuckett scored all 10 of his TDs in the last four weeks of the 2011 campaign, which is amazing considering he carried the ball only 27 times in the first seven. After a big spring, Tuckett appears to be the Wildcats' No. 1 back entering 2012, though there's plenty of depth to work with.

10. JOSH BOOKER, JR., WEBER STATE 2011: 701 yds, 5.9 avg, 5 TD, 16 rec. THE BUZZ FOR 2012: Until Tuckett ran wild at the end of the year, Booker was Weber State's top back. Booker started 10 games last season and earned second-team All-Big Sky honors. Booker isn't flashy, but he's steady -- and consistent. A 17-carry, 121-yard, 2-touchdown performance against Montana State last year was his best outing. Booker will play a solid role for the Wildcats again.

Watch out for Tuckett, I'm thinking he is gonna have a great year
Agreed 100% I also believe that had Tuckett been given a shot earlier in the season he would be much higher on this list. :twocents:

Agree with the above agreed upon statement. Whenever Tuckett got the ball earlier in the season, I couldn't understand why he wasn't getting it more. He'd have a nice 6 or 7+ yard run and then he wouldn't be seen again that week. Yes, the Cats had a lot of options last year, and they have a lot of options again this year, but Tuckett should be the main guy. One thing that he does really well is follow the play and not try to make more of the play like Booker. I really like Booker, but he trys to be flashy when a lot of the time if he would have followed the play he would have a bigger gain on the play. Oh well, nice having multiple options in the backfield for the Cats.

Any other Cats who could shock us? Oran Maxwell, Braden Corpus, Karl Finai? Imagine handing the ball off to Finai and having Tolutau leading on the play that is over 500lbs of force being thrown at you from the backfield.

Anybody else get flashbacks of Trevyn Smith when watching Tuckett run the ball? The fact that Tuckett is much classier than Smith was and smarter than a sack of hammers is an added bonus, too. Very excited to see him in action this year.

YES, I dont know how many times last year I told my dad how much he reminded me of Smith, and I remember mentioning to my dad that I really liked how he ran and how good I thought he was and why he wasnt getting more carries, in both the NAU and PSU games last year, Tuckett confirmed my suspicions, that he was for REAL.
