2012 Men’s Soccer

Well the Hornets 7-4-2 (4-0-1 BW) are off to a scorching start in Big West play in their inaugural season so they probably deserve a thread. They also have a strong winning home streak going.

UC Davis and Sacramento State will meet Saturday with the Big West Conference North Division men's soccer title on the line after both teams lost at home Wednesday.

The Aggies fell 1-0 to Cal Poly, UCD reported. They are 8-6-4 overall and 6-3 in the Big West. With 18 points, UC Davis leads by two over Cal Poly and Sac State, which share second place.
The Hornets (8-7-2, 5-3-1) lost 2-1 to UC Santa Barbara, Sac State reported. They played a man down after Matt Linenberger received a red card in the 20th minute.

The regular-season finale will be played at UC Davis.
