DES MOINES, Iowa — Behind a career best performance, Sacramento State's Renisha Robinson finished 16th in the women's 800 at the Div. I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday.

Robinson ran 2:05.15, shaving nearly a half second off her PR, to finish seventh in her heat. Her overall finish earned her second team All-America honors. Robinson remains second in school history in the event, trailing only former All-American Lea Wallace.

The senior was among the top four in the race through the first 400 meters but began to slip as the pace picked up over the final lap. Nachelle Mackie of BYU and Oregon's Ann Kesserling each ran sub-2:03 to finish first and second in the heat, respectively.

Robinson ends her career as a two-time All-American (one indoor, one outdoor). She was also a part of eight Big Sky Conference team championships during her five years with the Hornets.
