The Hornets steamroll everyone and dominate the conference slate on their way to an NCAA tournament berth and subsequent NCAA Championship.

Ok maybe not. They won 6 games last season so I’ll go with 8 wins this season since they return their leading scorers.

Hornetsports release on the Nevada win:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Senior forward Elece McBride scored with less than 10 minutes remaining and the Sacramento State women's soccer team won its 2012 season opener, 2-1, over Nevada on Sunday afternoon at Hornet Field.

The Hornets (1-0) also received a goal from senior Jessica Castaño in the 48th minute while Nevada (1-1) had its lone goal scored on a header by Chrisalyn Fonte.
