2013 and 2014 recruiting classes

Will the 2013 and 2014 recruiting class go down as the best two recruiting classes in Weber State history?
It looks like we have a chance to take it to another level next year with our returning talent and new Freshman coming into Ogden next year.

I think winning conference will be a given, advancing in NCAA's a strong possibility.

Only time will tell. We were all super excited with Wheelright, Fields and Brown a few years ago. Not a single one of them is still on the team.

  You bring up an excellent point. Yikes!! Nice... :thumb:

It was an excellent class. Just didn't pan out. One guy was homesick, the other Brown, I still don't know why he left, playing time? And Wheels, well, we have better players and his time was going to be cut. Maybe it is because they left that we now have a chance to get the guys we are recruiting now. ;-)

Brown transferred to a school where he could become an ordained minister. He had that goal for a long time, and just decided it was time to follow that path instead of basketball. :thumb:

Hard to hold that against the guy if his calling came from a lot higher than a basketball hoop!
It's going to be fun to watch the next couple of years. I'm going out on a limb and guaranteeing conference championships the next 4 years!

I am going to go out on a limb and predict that Weber will win the Purple and White game tonight.

However, I am not sure the women will be able to win their scrimmage. If there was a way to lose an intrasquad game, our ladies could figure out how.

Hilarious! When will the men start playing?

Even if it's Weber State basketball hoop? Tough call!

Losing Fields was one of my biggest disappointments in the history of the program.

Did hear that the women's team scrimmaged an area university over the weekend and beat the tar out of them. I'm not really sure how to take the news, but...

Fields was a very talented dud, get over it. There are plenty of guys with all the talent in the world and no desire to work.

Me, and anyone who wants to see the athletics strengthened in general, which should be any Weber fan.

If you want to see WSU athletics in general strengthened then pay your $50 or more and actually join the Wildcat Club. I do indeed donate to wSU Sports and yeah I still don't care about Womens basketball.
