Unfortunate ending for the Lady Hornets. Being able to knock off the top seed on their home court is no easy feat. No reason for them to hang their heads though. Craighead and the Hornets brought home an program best 19-12 (13-7 BSC) record along with back to back BSCT appearances and 1st round wins with an outside shot at a WNIT bid. Well done.

Agree with every little bit of that, SD. We should add that there's a possibility of a WBI bid as well, if that tournament is staged this year.

It doesn't look like the Hornets were picked for the WNIT or the WBI. Northern Colorado, Eastern Washington, and Idaho State all received bids to the WNIT. Doesn't seem fair.
