The roster has been updated. Jordan Brown, a Soph from Powell Wyo, is on the roster. He will be wearing 0. He is a walkon. He is the only surprise, as of right now. I know that there will be another unknown player being added to the roster. A 6-4 G/F, who is a transfer. He will be a walkon this season. From what I've heard, JC Kennedy is on scholarship this season. Remember, DI scholarships are only good for 1 season. Coaches counsel players at the end of each season to see who will be staying on scholarship, leaving, or getting some "other" type of financial assistance.

Jordan Brown graduated from HS in 2009. He is 5' 10'' and plays point guard. My question is, Where has he been for 5 years? Has he been in the Military, on an extended mission, in jail, or what? Where did he play one year of basketball? There must be a story here.

Also, What is up with this other mysterious transfer? How do you know that JC is on an athletic scholarship?
He was on an academic scholarship last year. Where did this info come from?

Jordan and his family live out in Plain City currently. He went on a mission to Brazil and was actually a walk on with the team last year, earning a actual roster spot this year.

Jake Bigler 6'1'', from Layton (Northridge High) is now on the roster. I don't know much about him.

Grant Jones 6'5" Foothill

Bigler can shoot from deep, gym rat, played on some good AAU clubs. Don't think he's athletic enough to go beyond scout team.

I wish we would have been able to add this flat top to our collection. Unfortunately he took his talents and flat top to south beach.

Who's he flipping the bird to? And it's ok to smile. :-D

Now I'm confused!?

Are we taliking about the Grant Jones, 6'4'' from Twin Falls, Idaho. Or, are we talking about the Grant Jones, 6'2'', from Santa Ana, California. They appear to be about the same age and have similar skills and abilities. Either way, it looks like a solid scout team member. :coffee:

Roster shows he's from Santa Ana and is 6'5". Also says his previous school was Idaho St. An old Idaho St player profile from the 12-13 season shows a Grant Jones from Twin Falls who was a walk-on and played in one game. http://www.isubengals.com/roster.aspx?roster=87&path=mbball

Hire a PI. It seems like the two players morphed into one. Maybe he is related to that Gilson player that was a 4 star recruit and changed into a marginal D1 talent when he got here.

That's going to hurt! he's probably a 27 year old sophomore!

Like the Gilson kid, he probably doesn't exist at all. He is a pigmentation of our amalgamation.
