Sac is losing 4 seniors and, yes, I'll say it, 75% of their offense.
PSU is losing 4 seniors and around 70% of their offense
Idaho is losing 3 senior starters and about 60% of their offense.
I keep thinking to myself, "how did we lose at home to either of these teams?"
I just realized that if Weber were to pull of an upset that the Cats would play the winner of the NAU vs. UNCO game and not the highest remaing seed. Isn't that a major change from past years? Didn't they use to assign the lowest against highest remaining seed?

Tal....we lose a bunch of offense but not 75%....62% is about the correct number....like I said, A BUNCH OF POINTS....PSU actually loses 72% and UI loses only 50%......

I hope that YOU are NOT the one driving the fan bus when WSU is back to kicking ass next year. :twocents:hawkssb04 said:Oh hey look, we pissed away another one when victory was in our grasp. It's OK, though, because they're young. That's all. Youth is why we lose the close ones. Youth. Did I emphasize youth? :wall:

"Following a layup with .4 seconds left on the clock, a member of the Montana bench sprinted onto the court. After a review by the officials, it was determined he did not affect play and no technical foul was assessed."

"After Gregory's winning layup, some fans started to run onto the floor. Play was stopped and the officials determined that because the fans did not interfere with the play on the floor, no technical foul would be assessed against Montana." http://missoulian.com/sports/colleg...cle_7798967b-9443-530c-a4e8-b5f8c2c9efa6.html
I agree. EWU could get a 15 seed, maybe a 14. UM will probably be in a "play in" game, then could face Kentucky. That would be a huge embarrassment.ZonaCat said:I hope EWU wins tonight. They are the best team in the league this year.
The ending was not without controversy. Someone from the Montana bench, whom the Big Sky Conference has identified as Jermaine Edmonds, an academically ineligible player for the Grizzlies, went out to midcourt before realizing there was still time remaining and diving back to the sideline -- a violation that could have resulted in a technical foul. But officials determined that the commotion did not interfere with the play, and no technical was called. However, when the head coaches met in the postgame handshake line, Northern Arizona coach Jack Murphy appeared to poke DeCuire in the chest and a scuffle ensued with some shoving but no apparent punches thrown.

The Big Sky Conference said that commissioner Doug Fullerton did an initial review of the incident after the game.
"... The one thing people want to know about is (Montana coach) Travis (DeCuire). I see absolutely no action by Travis that would cause us to suspend him or cause any problems for Travis tomorrow. We're still reviewing the head coach at Northern Arizona.''
