2015 walkons

Any information on walkons for this year? Occasionally a walk on becomes a star player later in their career. Anyone with that potential in this class?

Looks like we lost our walk on quarterback Christian Jorgensen to WSU but gained a former WSU walkon Andrew Zimmerman. Zimmerman suffered a season ending knee injury at Monroe but he looks like he has a lot of upside plus he was a 4.0 student.

We also gained a pretty good LB prospect in Andrew Katzenberger. Not sure if he was offered anywhere else but he was mentioned as a top prospect with some of the recruiting sites

I have read that Jayce Gilder from Corvallis, MT who is listed on the latest roster is a preferred walk-on at tight end. EWU has two seniors tight ends on the roster and didn't recruit one.

The Gilder kid had a sack a TFL and 4 tackles playing DE for the west team in the Montana East West Shrine game last night. There was also a great story on him Friday in the Missoulian. At 6'5 225# he looks like a kid that could put on more size.
