vs. UNI - 9,111 (Not great, but before school started).
vs. UC Davis - 10,741
vs. UNC - 10,924

Average through 3 home games=10,259

9k before school starting is certainly an improvement. Only a couple years ago, that would draw around 3 or 4. Record attendance for the Montana game?

Record attenance would require more seating to be brought in. Not sure that would happen. Even for the Griz

Not to mention, absolutely terrible weather leading right up to kickoff.

That's on pace for a new record right?
Montana should be 11k even, and Id st likely in the 9800 range.

Montana should be close to 12k. Idaho St. drew over 10k a couple years ago.

Average through 4 games: 10,427.

Maybe the weather kept some folks away, but as I predicted, attendance for this game wasn't far off of the UNC and UC Davis games.

Weather could have played a role, but bigger than that, there isn't really a way to get more people into a game with the current set up. In the previous games with crowds 11,000+ there wasnt as much club seating like the TD club set up in all four corners. Additionally, the band stayed in the end zone, rather than being set up in temp bleachers like in other Montana match ups.

Lastly, the Montana match up is still the most hyped home game for EWU, but that's 19 straight sellouts and only 2 of those have been against the Griz. Ticket demand is clearly there...and I really don't understand the delay in more seating. There is no excuse anymore.

The sellout string is a huge piece of evidence for increased ticket demand. And, at the beginning of that string you could easily score a ticket for $10 a piece and now cheap tickets are $25-$30. We need more seats because the Eags are leaving a lot of fans at home and revenue on the table.
