Bored to tears, not hearing anything from Eagles spring practice is making me antsy. Hope they post the scrimmages somewhere for us remote viewers EVERYONE else does.

Here are a couple of articles and a link to the final Texas Tech scrimmage.

Anyone plan on going to this game? We're moving to Texas in a couple months and will probably attempt the drive up.

I'd love to go, and am considering it. Fordham is probably a more attractive game, though. Lubbock v NYC... no offense to Lubbock, but that's an easy one to pick from.

This is a scary game on paper. Texas Tech plays a lot like us; very offensive and love to sling the ball all over the field. Obviously, they have access to better talent out of HS and have 22 more schollies. This is a tough ask, although we have feel like there is a chance to snag a win. We've beaten better; of course, we've also lost to (much) worse.

We'll know a lot about where we sit after week one. We should be able to move the ball against this team. The defense will be tested in a big way; Texas Tech puts absurd numbers of points on the board. Truth is we probably need to score 40+ to even have a shot.

I believe there was a team last year from the PAC 12 that "had" on paper a potent offense...didn't fair too well for them against us! :thumb:

No disrespect lucky but I hope the scrimmages are not posted for the world to see. IMO I'd rather not have TT watching our every move.
sorry

Talking/hearing bout the TT game is giving this old man a twinge and a tingle...must mean Football is upon us...and it feels good...need more data on Spring situation please! It do feel good coming out of hibernation.

Just took a role in Frisco, so planning on the drive to Lubbock come September. Dopa's right though, it ain't pretty. Think TT looks faster than Wazzu did last year; big question marks at QB for them. Our defensive backfield should do alright if we get a little pressure up front. Their defense looks swarming but was awful against Big12. OL should hold up well, GG is maneuverable, so the question will be at WR on offense. Grady, Stiles, Splendorio and X james or Simba need to step up their games... a lot. Looking forward to seeing it. Assuming the offense revisits 1999-2008, not all bad considering the improved talent level. Waiting and waiting some more to see what is to be.

Nice! I'll be down in Austin. Yeah Lubbock is a crap hole. I was on the team when we played there last, and one thing I'll never forget is big roaches falling off the ceiling in the locker room.
