Great updates isubengalfan. 3 out of the 5 open scholarships are now committed. Interesting to see what happens in next 3 weeks.

I would expect them to sign 6 or 7 scholarship kids and a 6 or 7 mission/grey shirt kids. I think these 3 will be here next yr. I would expect 2 DB's, 1 QB, and maybe 1 more OL or DL.

I would be willing to bet ISU signs a lot more than 5 kids. Some of these commitments are mission kids who won't play for two years. Some will get only partial scholarships. And some of the kids who are on scholarship now will leave before next season.
....I certainly hope so....On the Griz forum...they are "talking"...."4 Transfers, 17 Verbals and 15 Offers"....geez.....I know our program has "a long ways to go"....BUT recruiting is the chance we have to close the gap....at least a little.....
....Here's hoping Kramer can work some recruiting magic....and make peace with Bailey and bring him back.....he's the key to our offense having a chance to get back on track I believe.....

You have to have scholarships to give them out. Montana had a lot more seniors. This was a young team, so not a lot of available scholarships. Don't hold your breath on Bailey.

I think having Phenicie slide over is an easy transition. He was a major part of the offense in the last part of the year. He is very qualified and knowledgeable. I would also look for coach Fiefia to be a much bigger part of the team and the offense. Our offense hasn't change much even though we have gone thru 3 different coordinaters. Eastern goes thru changes in their coordinators also every year. Just the nature of this level of football. To be honest the most important part of this is how willing Kramer is to allow the new coordinator to call his plays and not interfere.

If we land Isaiah Brimmer out of kamaikin HS in Kennewick, Wa. and Conner Stanford of sugar Salem HS to finish up this class I will be very very pumped up.
