Five have been starters, three on D, one on O, and one on special teams. None of the other five look to be starters this season. Forgive me for a minute for looking ahead, but the 2020 season could see as many as 18 returning starters. Rodriguez, Williams, and Tesch are all-conference players that will be missed, but the DL and LB are deep and will be fine. I really think the 2019 team will be good, but the 2020 team could really be special. The future is very bright!
 
As reported by Brett Hein, Mo Cannon, Trey Hoskins, and AJ Allen won't be with the team this season.

He was on the roster in the Fall 2018 and then was removed shortly after the end of the season. He shows up in game notes beginning with the Utah game and was listed through at least the SEMO game.

John O'fahengaue is now on the roster again and was on the sidelines for the Northern Iowa game.
