2019 Schedule

2019 schedule is out...ouch!!

4 non conference games and only 1 is at home, against a NAIA school!

We don't get UM, MSU, or Idaho at home (No msu at all)...

5 home games, 7 road...only 4 D1 opponents at home this year. Feels a lot like 2011.

Pretty easy conference schedule, but dang, nothing to write home about regarding our home games next year.

Agreed, our home games have some dud teams coming in. Oh well, no matter who we play, just need to beat em.

Though while not home games, it is always nice that our road games are drivable. Only one long road trip in the whole first month of the season is nice!

Playing in Florida in Sept when the humidity 70-90% daily, will be tough. Guessing it will be a night game, but still. I travel to Orlando on business frequently and Aug/Sept are the two worst months of the year.

Game could also be played in a downpour as this is right in the middle of the rainy season.

Get out of UW game healthy, win at Jax State, another BSC championship and Top 4 seed for the playoffs.

Rest of schedule doesn't scare me.

It looks like September is the critical month. Five games, three on the road, and mostly against legit comp.

It seems highly unlikely we can beat UW, but the next four are all winnable despite some tough teams.

If we’re positioning for a high seed, we need to get out of that month 4-1. To be a playoff team, we need at least 3-2.

I’d add that a number of games in that region get canceled during this time of year. I hope our contract includes a provision that we get paid even if they cancel the game.

Idaho went through that a couple years back when they traveled to Florida, had their game canceled, and Florida tried to stiff them. They managed to get it worked out, but it was a bad situation.

Personally I am shocked that Florida game is still on the schedule.

I guess there’s always the possibility they buy us out. Then we can schedule a different FBS. Win/win.
