We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

21-22 schedule

Who is on the schedule thus far?
Usually late spring to early summer is when we might get first sniff of the schedule. I suspect: Seattle U ...UW...WSU...OREGON...Portland pilots...Boise State maybe Cal Bears plus a tournament. Not sure COVID risk completely goes away for longer trips so will keep it probably as local as much as possible plus trying to keep costs down as well.
Will say this we definately lined ourselves up for some potential money games a nice tournament in years to come. Sadly GU will probably keep ducking us for reasons unknown...before it was because we were not good enough and now that we pose a challenge and are not a sure win... I can see them passing....yes I am bitter they don't put us on the schedule either yearly or every other year. Plus this year when they were so frantic to find opponents and they scheduled cup cakes instead of calling us from down the road..find it sad.

If the vaccinations are delivered on schedule, everyone should be free and clear from Covid over the Summer, so late Fall shouldn't require any deviation from normal.

Gonzaga didn't make some hard and fast policy that they won't play Eastern, but if you go back 20 years, games against Gonzaga used to alternate venues. Around the early 2000s, we switched to playing them in Spokane Arena for a split purse. What's weird is that Spokane Arena would sell out, but Gonzaga changed to saying they'd only play us on their campus and only pay us a small guarantee. Therefore, it largely stopped making sense for Eastern to keep playing Gonzaga on their terms. It's the same reason WSU doesn't play Gonzaga frequently. Gonzaga only wants home games in their own building. I guess when you have that private school money and it's pretty much funneled into a single sport, you can lay out your own terms.
