Wildcats improve to 6-0 on the road, and 9-1 overall, which leads me to ask......

WHY THE HECK DID WE LOSE AT HOME TO MONTANA STATE???????????

The quick answer: Montana State scored more points than Weber State that night.

The long answer: Weber is the 2nd youngest and inexperienced team in the league, and they have to make up for that inexperience through concentration, teamwork, mental toughness, and hard work. My limited competitive experience, at a level not near what our Cats play at, tells me that those 4 things at the highest level are hard to bring with you to the floor every game. I think that the league is so close from top to bottom (yes, even Sac State) that the difference between winning and loosing to a large degree is how well you keep your concentration, teamwork, mental toughness, and hard work at the highest possible level. So far the Wildcats have brought it better than the competition 9 out of 10 times.

My take.

Beats me! I thought for sure you would pound us into submission when we traveled down to Ogden earlier this season. However, the Bobcats seem to have a sense of flair when we hit the road. Including you guys, we have beaten Colorado and Oregon State on the road. I am guessing the win over you guys just happened to be a combination of you guys making some mistakes at critical points in the ballgame, and we just actually played a near flawless game. We aren't too bad of a ball club when we play to our potential. But just like Weber, we are really young and have yet to find a leader on this team.

By the way, good win for you guys last night. Weber has all the momentum in the conference and may not lose another season contest the rest of the year. No doubt, I believe the tourney will be in Ogden.
