2nd half adjustments

Anyone as concerned as I am with the fact that we have lost a lead in alomst every game in the second half? St Mary's was a good game til about the 12 min mark and then they made another change and ran new plays and picked us apart. Give and Go's, back door cuts, they were moving all over. We seem to run the same offense all game long.. no adjustments, and teams are taking advantage of that.

Is this just a weber thing where we cannot play a full game?

Actually, Weber missed a bunch of FTs and that virtually killed any chance for Weber to stay in the game. As for the game plan, yes, I will agree with you there. Rahe needs to start mixing it up more, and not just on the offensive side of the court.

Its not just bad game planning, anybody else notice how cold this team gets when shooting in the 2nd half?

I swear we can never buy a bucket in the 2nd half, and while we are missing other teams are making thier shots and gaining momentum.

Anyway, Im not dissapointed, after all, We are were I thought we would be right now, 4-1 with a loss to St. Mary's.

What is disappointing about the St. Mary's game is the fact that Weber was leading virtually the entire game, at one point, beating the crap out of the Gaaaaels. Personally, I don't think the offense is being run poorly, I think there needs to be more toughness on the defensive side of the court. But, as someone pointed out yesterday, that is hard to do if the men in stripes don't let you.

Our bench is not scoring enough. Fulton has yet to get it going. And Richardson has got to start scoring when he gets comes in. Mahoney is not going to score much and neither is Hajek. We need some firepower from the bench, or we might need to rethink our starting lineup and bring Bamforth in as 6th man. Our bench cost us at St. Marys where they contributed 4 points. I'm going to assume that Bull will get it going and I also think that Otis will become more consistent, but our bench needs some real work right now.

The other thing about fulton im noticing is the ball never leaves his hands except to shoot. he never passes the ball ever except for to the hoop. he needs to dish the ball more
