3rd Annual Hornet Hoops Extravaganza

Time for hoops supporters to dust off the golf clubs…
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The third-annual Hornet Hoops Extravaganza golf tournament has been set for Monday, June 25, at the Cold Springs Country Club in Placerville.

The tournament is hosted by the 6th Man Club, the fundraising arm of the Sacramento State men’s basketball program. Members of the 6th Man Club and non-members are welcome to participate. Proceeds will benefit the men’s basketball team.

Shotgun start begins at 12:30 p.m. (registration begins at 11 a.m.) with teams consisting of four players in a better ball stableford format. Everyone plays their own ball and the top two scores for each hole count towards the team score. A light lunch will be served during registration, and a barbecue will follow the tournament.

Participants can sign up as individuals ($125 per player) or groups ($400 per foursome). Hole sponsorships are available for $100.
