Top Five Away games, that you've attended:
1. ISU 2010... 4OT with Damian making the winning layup with seconds to play. ISU missing key FT's down the stretch to give Weber a chance to pull off the W. The game felt like a true rivalry game. Crazy fans, a bunch of lead changes, police keeping fans away from one anther. IT was awesome!! After the game, a fight almost broke out between the students.
2. UTAH 2000...Jermain Boyette leads Weber to an incredible upset W over the Utes at the Huntsman Center, breaking their 54 game winning streak.
3. MSU 2003...Ty Sparrow has two break away dunks on the bobcats floor. After the game "Jumpin" Joe Cravens crowd surf in the Weber State crowd. Good friend, M. Valletta almost got beat up by a pissed off Bozeman girl. LOOOOL.
4. Nevada 2003-04...Bengalhater was warned to get off the floor after Weber got homered by WAC refs, who preserved a come-from behind Wolfpack victory. Slobodan owned Nevada and Kurt Snyder till there were a bunch of suspect charging fouls that forced him to the bench. Really reminded me of the "supposed" Utah State win against Jermain Boyette in 2002. By the way, Aggies, there are still 2.5 seconds left on the clock with Pat Danley having the Ball under the basket putting in a wide open equalizing layup.
5. ISU 2006...Joes last game. Bubb called me, bengalhater, and CATCAT little Shizes, for supposedly stealing seats in front of a bunch of high brow ISU fans at the end of half-time. Also Bengalhater got a Big Sky ref to sit next to him (Big Red). Weber almost made a miraculous comeback behind the baldness of Weber's own Mr. Fester.
HONORABLE MENTION:
SUU...2005 Carlos, Bengalhater, and Talhad first appearance in the Centrum, which would be the second or third nicest stadium in the Sky. Behind the shooting of Johnny, Slob, and Sparrow...Weber jumps out to a huge first half lead and holds off the pesky T-Birds. Playing in Cedar is always a riot!! Love the rivalry with the T-Birds. I hope they get an invite to the Sky soon.
