#5 Hornets @ Cal Poly

Always nice to get a W against an in-state rival. All aspects of the O were clicking, pass coverage is still bend not break, and the penalties/sloppiness needs to be cleaned up.
Targeting! Really?, that was a bone headed move, pun intended.

Hope we can get a good crowd against UNC, not Chapel Hill, Bears. Dotson has been putting up good numbers and appears to be the main weapon. They have a good receiving corps too.

Agreed, that was a sloppy performance. Yet our Hornets still dominated. IMO that’s a good sign.

Not sure yet, but my wife and I are likely to be attending this weekends game. As much as I love Dot, I’m hoping we take care of business early and coast to the finish line.

This season’s success is largely gonna be determined over the next couple weeks @EWU then at home against the Griz. But they can’t afford to overlook and underestimate Dotson and the Bears along the way.

I was actually telling my wife last night that after the Northern Colorado game that we're coming up on the "meat" of our schedule. In a four week span after UNC we play at Eastern Washington, home against Montana followed by an improved Idaho team then on the road at Weber State. Those four games will tell us a lot but I'm optimistic.

I'm not looking past Northern Colorado though, I'm sure they'll show up and give us their best. I also have a feeling Mr. Dotson may come in with a bit of a chip on his shoulder which could make him dangerous. It's going to be a fun few weeks, can't wait for Saturday to get here!
