According to the newly released roster, the eagles have 16 current players? I'm wondering who's going to walk on in addition to Kelly, and Harvey? My guess from what I've been reading about Justin Omogun is that he wont be a walk on. This guy sounds like a beast, can score and rebound, recruited by UCLA, Oregon State, Virginia Tech, along with Weber State and Montana State. He's listed as a sophomore, could their be a plan for him to play one year with Eastern and then transfer to a bigger school? Sounds like an amazing signing, and yes he's a Center! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

Sounds like a good grab, but I hope that's not the case. We need plays that are going to buy into the program and be committed and not bolt after a year or two. Time to start thinking long-term!

Looks like Omugun will be a walk-on. From his player page - http://www.goeags.com/sports/m-baskbl/2011-12/bios/omogun_justin_nxrp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Hayford on Omogun: “Picking up Justin late in the summer was a tremendous blessing for our team. He brings great athleticism and size to our team. He was a player who was recruited to play Division I out of high school, but that didn’t materialize. He went to junior college and had a good freshman season at Western Nebraska. It says a lot that he’s willing to make a personal sacrifice to come without a scholarship. He wants to be a part of what we are doing at Eastern Washington, and I am grateful. As we develop his skill to match his athleticism and physical ability, he should prove to be a great recruiting steal.”

Very interesting pickup! If anyone has anymore information on him, that would be great, and I will try to look into it as well!
