• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

9/23 - the tradition continues

For those of you somehow out of the loop, there is a small tradition that happens on Friday nights before a home game for me:

A) I go up to George Cherokee's suite, sit and bs with him over a beer, then curse at the opposition when they do their walk-through and try to kick us out. Cherokee's got my business card tacked to his suite wall, anyone bothers him, he says for them to talk to me. Worked against Sac State last year.

B) I leave the suites and look for an Airstream parked in the far back. That and a horse trailer by a former NFL guy mean it's check-in time.

C) I get to the check-in area about 4p in the upper lot. Hotdogs, bs and more cans await. Several students and I greet the incoming RVs or tailgate passholders.

D) I personally chase out cars sneaking in until about 1a. Mike Campitelli calls me the JYD (Junk Yard Dog). Last year, I ran after the car of Al Thompson (then dean of students). No one gets past the JYD.

We go around to those "little cities" who overnight on the lot and offer the Hooties peanuts, cans of beer and food. All in all, a good time.

I expect to see some of you up there. Hopefully, the Airstream is ready to go. Wouldn't be the same without it.
