• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Nice article over at the NAU Athletic's blog written by Pam Lowie from Academic Services about academics and athletics in college.

http://nauathletics.blogspot.com/2009/11/its-not-all-about-athletics.html

It gives a quick run-down of NAU's current numbers. Have to say I'm quite impressed not only with the majority of student athletes but also with the tutors, coaches and staff in academic services for making this happen.

I wasn't a horrible student but I wasn't a model student either. I scraped by the first few years and had to battle to get my gpa up to a tad over 3.0 by the time I graduated in 5 years. It makes the 12-16 credits a semester at best and a 10-15 hour p/t job a few days a week I worried about seem like nothing.

I'm giving everyone involved some props here. Congratulations!
