Gerad Davis 6'3 SG- "Davis is a physical specimen with no true position as of yet, but he affects the game in multiple ways. The chiseled lefty is relentless in the open court he can slice and dice the defense with regularity. He gets to the rim with ease and can finish in traffic"- ESPN. Article: http://nevadapreps.com/sports/boys-basketball/gerad-davis-lifts-canyon-springs-upset-las-vegas" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Will Ferris 6'1 PG- "Ferris is a skilled combo-guard with a high basketball IQ. He affects the game with his shooting ability that extends out to 20-feet as well as his adept passing in the half court set. In addition, he appears to have natural leadership ability that should bode well at the next level" - ESPN. Highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flNMX7K58d8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Kyle Reid 6'6 SF- Averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds at LA Tech. Also saw he may have played with Tyler Harvey in highschool? Looks strong and athletic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P19xa74gsfA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sir Washington 6'4 SG- "Washington is what we describe on the scouting scene as a bucket-getter. He has the ability to knock down shots in a variety of ways (post-ups, slashing drives, pull-ups). The slick left-hander with a lean frame can convert buckets at all three levels and his motor never stops." - ESPN. Redshirted this year.

Frederik Jorg 7'1 C- Redshirted this year. But with his size it will give us a big advantage against the Big Sky.

Hmmmmm...not a thing about a tenacious defensive player....one who can disrupt opponents offensive sets...will come up with multiple steals in a game... one who guards the best player on the other team limiting their offensive output.....hmmmm

Yes it would be nice to recruit a tenacious defensive player. Currently we have a tenacious defensive player. His name is Parker Kelly (senior net season). He defended the best offensive players in the BSC all year, did an excellent job and also averaged 10 points per game, and shot 89.5% from the free throw line. In addition the EAGS blocked 88 shots, second in the BSC only to NAU (90). Of course there is plenty of room for improvement on defense.

The most telling statistics were that the EAGS were last in scoring defense, but first in scoring offense. So,the EAGS need to defend better as a team next season. I am confident that the EAGS will once again lead the BSC in offensive production because they can put five guys on the court that can score. So, hopefully more emphasis will be put on the defensive side of the game and this team will challenge for the BSC title.

this might be a dumb question, but how are we getting these players when we had no seniors on our team this year?

The current roster has 13 players. Maximum roster size can be 15. There is room for two more.

Each team is allowed 13 scholarship players, the following are players currently on the roster: Drew Brandon, Daniel Hill, Tyler Harvey (original walk on), Sir Washington, Gerad Davis (reported he will walk on his first year), Parker Kelly (original walk on), Thomas Reuter, Garrett Moon, Kyle Reid, Venky Jois, O.G., Felix Von Hoffe, Martin Seiferth, and Frederik Jorg. My understanding is you can have as many players as you want as long as you don't go over 13 scholarship players. Gonzaga had 5 walk on players on their roster this year.

SirGarethThe3rd,
The young man from Arizona was released from the team, problems with Asst. Coach. Danny, forgot his last name, he came here right out of High School. Vic

Danny Powell was the kid from Arizona. I also heard Cody Benzel the Ferris kid in Spokane is coming to Eastern, must be as a walk on too unless he has changed his mind and decided to go else where.
