The Big Sky Conference will announce its preseason All-Big Sky football team and the results of the media and coaches' polls next Monday and Tuesday at the Big Sky Kickoff media conference in Park City, Utah. We will have full coverage from that event that will lead us into coverage from around the league leading up to the 2017 season.

In anticipation of those accolades, we will have our picks for the preseason offense, defense and the way we voted in the preseason poll with a breakdown of the league's composite schedule.

Not too many disagreements with the offensive list but I feel like it's missing a guy named Blackburn. Thanks for the writeup though. Good read.

Definately off base in terms of EWU defense. I would argue that EWU defense improved more than anyone in the Big Sky. Tiulli, Fettig and Nsuzi Webster will be on this list at the end of the year.

Fettig should be on the list IMO. He's probably not on a lot of radars yet, but eag fans know what he brings to the table. I'd take him over anyone else at his position in the league. I like all the other names mentioned above too. Not going to argue with the defensive list though. Let's keep a chip on our guys' shoulders and let them go out and earn it. EKG.

Fettig and Tiuli are probably the two most deserving defensive guys from EWU. It is what it is.

If you are wondering what is going on at the beginning of this video, my brother Brooks Nuanez, who is co-founder of Skyline Sports, our director of operations and our senior photographer, played safety at Montana from 2009-2011. He played a year for Phenicie and Phen remembered Brooks. The beginning is them rehashing their Big Sky championship days at Montana.

Don't know the physical health of the players coming back, but if Jordan and Havili are healthy, they will have big disruptive years. Havili's mindset was what kickstarted the season last year and Jordan's quick's inside showed real promise. Given Tiuli (a huge fan) is Tiuli and draws some extra attention, the DL should be a wrecking crew and the depth of good DB's is phenomenal. Led by Fettig and Webster and a coaching staff that has been together for 3 years now on that side of the ball, it is all upside. BigSky look out. Expect a couple Richmond like performances from the D this season even in the face of the brutal early season schedule.
