Just released by the Big Sky:

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State football team had six players named to the Big Sky All-Conference team that was released on Tuesday and voted on by the coaches. Junior linebacker Mario Jenkins earned second-team honors while wide receiver KW Williams, punter Sean Cheney and tight end Josh Cook were named to the third-team. Offensive tackle Brian Fineanganofo and sophomore linebacker Joe Martin earned honorable mention all-league accolades.

Jenkins is coming off a junior season where he led the Bengal defense with 93 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions. He appeared in 10 games and also forced one fumble and had three sacks. This year was Jenkins first time seeing action since the 2014 season when he was named the Big Sky Freshman of the Y bear while earning second-team all-league honors. Jenkins had four games with double-digit tackles this year, including a season-high 15 vs. Sacramento State on Sept 24.

Williams finished his career as one of the most prolific receivers Idaho State history. This year he caught 64 passes for 683 yards and 11 touchdowns. He ranks third all-time in career receptions with 188. He finished second all-time in touchdown receptions with 29 and his 2,365 receiving yards ranks sixth all-time. Williams earned honorable mention all-conference in 2014 and 2015. Williams 11 receiving touchdowns this year ranked second all-time in the single-season record book.

Josh Cook leaves Idaho State the career leader in receiving yards for a tight end. He finished his career with 1,706 receiving yards and 146 receptions. This year he caught 46 passes for 532 yards and two touchdowns. The receptions and receiving yards this year were the most he has had in a season during his time in Pocatello. Cook earned third-team all-league in 2014 and honorable mention in 2015. Cook had a career-high 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a win over Sacramento State this year.

In Cheney's first season as the starting punter he averaged 42.8 yards a kick with a career-long of 62 yards vs. Simon Fraser on Sept. 3 and Sacramento State on Sept. 24. He had a 61-yarder at NAU on Oct. 15. He has 12 punts of 50 yards or more and 12 that were dropped inside the 20-yard line.

In Martin's first season as the starting linebacker he finished second on the team in tackles with 88 and had a career-high 13 at Montana on Nov. 5. He has interceptions vs. Simon Fraser, SUU and Eastern Washington. He also tallied 11 tackles at NAU.

After missing the first four games of the season from an injury, Fineanganofo returned the lineup at Portland State and quickly developed into one of the best offensive tackles in the Big Sky Conference. The Bengal sophomore started every game the rest of the way.

Eastern Washington's Gage Gubrud and Cooper Kupp were named the league's Offensive MVP, North Dakota's Cole Reyes was the Big Sky Defensive MVP while Montana State's Chris Murray was the Freshman of the Year and Weber State's Andrew Vollert was the Newcomer of the Year.

Very surprised KW wasn't rated higher by the other coaches in the league. He had an outstanding year.
