All Quiet on the Recruiting Front

As is their custom, the men's team is extending their recruiting efforts right down to the end of the signing period. By my count ISU still has three scholarships to give and there has been nary a rumor of a visit or an offer the last month or so. I'd say the Bengals have enough bodies to be competitive if they don't sign anybody else, but we can always hope for another late signee like Telfair, right. :D

Are there 3 scholarships to give or just 2? Was there another transfer out? Here's who I count for next year:
Telfair
Luzcando
Chivichyan
Boyd
Nakken (pretty sure he's on scholarship now)
Lennox
Topalovich
Ingram
Wilkinson
Rob Jones
Hayes Garrity

Lyle Sutton ('14, Madison) apparently will be on the roster, but I'm not sure if he'll be a walk-on or on scholarship...

Yes, according to the Rexburg Standard Journal:

Elder Lyle Sutton, the son of Shane and Susan Sutton, of Rexburg, Idaho, has returned from his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vancouver, Canada. He will report his mission May 8 at 9 a.m. at the Archer/Sunnydell Ward building.

It's amazing the stuff you can find, SLC. :D

From ISU's website:

POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State men's basketball coach Bill Evans has added Madison High School standout Lyle Sutton to the roster for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

As a senior the 6-2 guard earned first-team all-conference and participated in the senior district and state all-star games. He also received the all-conference sportsmanship award.

Sutton averaged 17 points and five assists a game while shooting 50 percent from the field.

"Lyle had a great career at Madison High School," Idaho State coach Bill Evans said. "He experienced great success and our hope is he can continue to have that same success at Idaho State. I look forward to working with him."
