If you've never ventured over to the aggie board, you wouldnt get it. They often take pleasure in making fun of professions and trades that do not require a degree, it's one of the reasons I so despise them.
Last season, on their board, they made fun of plumbers and electricians. It's some sort of elitist mentality that the farm extension teaches apparently.
Apparently, a degree from the farm extension makes you better than everyone else. I dont get it either.

Yeah their arrogance is appalling. But what can you expect; they try so hard to live up to their older brother campus Cal. ucd is the dirty whore little red headed stepchild of Cal. The only reason they are where they are is that one day, a long time ago, Cal decided to open a satellite farm extension to the main Berkeley campus. And when Cal was unable to get the wheels rolling on NAMALA (North American Man Animal Love Association), a few davis folks took over and got things going.

They talk a lot of talk, and try to walk some walk, but when it all boils down; their elitist and arrogant attitude is just a way to pretend like they went to Cal. As much as they wish they want to feel a part of the Cal experience, the honest truth is they only went to “the farm extension”. So now they thumb their noses at everyone and put themselves on a pedestal only as a way to mask their insecurity of their shortcomings. :ugeek:
