An open letter to Big Sky TV

I don't want to bitch too much, because I truly appreciate being able to watch every Big Sky game from the comfort of my laptop, but I have a suggestion. How about next summer, we have the A/V departments from each school come together and watch a professionally produced football game. Just one! Then next season, they can do their best imitation. It's really difficult to watch most of the games. The game tonight was terrible-- zooming in tight on a single player and cutting to replays in the middle of live plays-- but it was actually better than many of the broadcasts we've seen so far this year.

Ya, thats redicilous, in fact you should DEMAND a refund!! No a DOUBLE refund. Show those guys who's the boss!!

I listened to the Sac St. announcers and it was hilarious. During the commercial breaks they would not turn off their microphones so you got to listen to them shoot the shit. One guy actually said, after Sac St scored their 28th point, "we will need at least 35 to win this one. EWU has a potent offense and can score quickly and Sac St.'s defense is looking tired".

But, yeah, the video sucked.

No... the absolute best "always be aware of a live mic" moment happened early in the game when they were on break and the guy said "I can't believe the assholes at ESPN don't have live stats on their website."

I didn't get BSTV to work until halftime.

I don't get it. Who is paying for Big Sky TV? It's free.

If you were referring to my initial comment-
Like I said, I love having it. I just wish they could do the little things like zoom out so we can see the receivers and the defensive set. Not asking for much...

If you were referring to the griz guy-
Pretty sure he was being sarcastic about my complaints, since the service is free. AGAIN, i appreciate it. But coming from MT, his idea of "free services" is a nice, warm sheep bung-hole, and he doesn't want to knock such a sweet deal.

Woops. That was clawman. Sorry. I'm just grumpy because the Seahawks lost. But my Montana comments still hold water.

i didn't think it was that bad actually. the SD game was terrible. every time there was action they would switch to the on field camera, you couldn't see anything!

I get what you're saying FormerEag and agree. But this conversation reminds of this fine bit by Louis C.K.

Warning to Vic, there's quite a bit of profanity.

Louis CK is the greatest. :notworthy:

Again, I qualified my complaint in the first damn sentence. I would gladly pay for BSTV. Seriously, i'd pay at least 20 bucks a month. Would that be worth having the camera skills of a high school scouting film? I don't bitch about having to listen to the dumbass opposing announcers or not even having audio for half the games. But at least follow the damn ball and show the defensive set!!! Not that hard!!!!!
