Andre Murray

Glad to hear Andre doesn't mind coming off the bench, especially since he'll probably have to play behind Waters next year. I could potentially see Andre playing the three ala Huff in a small lineup next year.

Murray has been a great pick-up from the JC ranks, in fact, Kumara, Huff and Murray have all been excellent additions over the years. I think JC's get a bad rap. There are many outstanding athletes/students in both football and basketball from junior colleges. Of course, there are always problem JC recruits, but that's true with all recruits in general. Anyway, I have been impressed with Murray, just wish he was a little taller, but he's just a plain good basketball player.

JC's do get a bad rap.

I attended one for a year, and saw some real good things, and some real bad things.

Bad Things: Oregon State University versus Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl with Hurricane Dennis. a few years back.

Good Things: What you mentioned. Juma, DHuff, Murray, etc.

It's all about character and you need to look deep to find the good ones.

Just noticed Andre's name, playing for the Vancouver Volcanoes of the IBL. Averaging 29 a game. He sure was a fun player to watch.
