Anthony Parker fired....

Confirmed reports that after last nights game, D Coordinator Anthony Parker was given his walking papers. The same guy who gave Sperbeck an ultimatum - Baiz and Osterhout go, or I go - was finally shown the door.

Congrats Anthony - you leveraged your "Boise" experience to not only get 2 of the most dedicated coaches in Hornet history fired (for no reason), but you run the Hornet defense into the ground.

7th in rushing defense
2nd to last in interceptions
Last in sacks (last season with Osterhout, Sac was top 3 - interesting)
2nd to last in opponent first downs

Good news Anthony - there is a job back in Boise in the laundry rooms washing jock straps. Peace out Tony!

Don’t take this guy seriously. All of his posts are coaching change related and they are all bitter name calling tirades. This guy is troll level. If Sperbeck has stuck with a terrible kicker for 9 weeks now, he certainly isn’t going to send his DC packing midseason. Also as bad as the defense did, if the offense doesn’t have 2 redzone turnovers the Hornets win.

Remind me what defense is being drove into the ground? Are you referring to the legendary 2006-2009 Baiz, Osterhout and Company defense?

This.

BTW six_3, Parker is still listed on the coaches page on Hornetsports. Good call buddy.
