Any Eagles have a shot at NFL Draft?

Anyone think this years seniors have a shot at the NFL draft?

Here is my take

- Renard Williams, coming into this year some said he could go as high as 3rd or 4th round. He didn't have a great year, but was also injured most of the 2nd half of the season. When he wants to compete, he can be an absolute beast. His stats are not great, but he draws a ton of double and triple teams. I think he has a shot to go in 6th or 7th round.

- Chris Powers, he has been an all-american center for us. He does not have great size, but he is a fantastic player. Limited by injuries. I don't think he is drafted but has a shot at the late rounds or free agency..imo.

- Bo Levi, he is not getting a lot of publicity but I think he could play at the next level. He may have to go to CFL or somewhere else first, but I think he has a shot to play. He has a rocket arm and is a very clutch QB. He threw for a ton of TD's and yards. Every NFL team could use a guy like BLM. I don't think he gets drafted but I think he deserves a shot.

Thoughts?

Bo Levi has the best shot...

Renard will always field the same questions about his work ethic, and this season probably raised more questions than answered them.

Chris Powers probably just doesnt have NFL size, but might be able to make a roster.

Edmonton is happy with Peach and Sherritt, maybe some of those mentioned, and Johnson? will get a look by the CFL. Travis Lulay (Montana State and BC) was the CFL MVP this year.

He won't get drafted, but something tells me Matt Johnson will be the most likely to make a roster.

As for BLM, the two skills all successful NFL quartebacks excel at are processing information and accuracy. Unfortunately height and arm strength are easier to quantify.

You might be right about Matt Johnson... I didn't think about him.

Bo Levi would probably do better in the NFL than in the CFL, as weird as that may sound given the difference in talent. In the modern incarnation of the CFL, you gotta be mobile as a QB and be able to get upfield with your feet. Backfield mobility is the one thing that really changes from American to Canadian rules... it also allows for smaller guys that can play that more mobile, up-tempo, 3 down style.

Chris will get a shot, there's been some scouting inquiries already, he plans on pumping it hard in preperation for his pro day ! Good luck Chris, can you say Jeff Saturday ?

That would be terrific. Go Chris!

No doubt BLM gets some looks. Hopefully invited to the combine but CFL is always an option. Winning the Payton trophy could help with exposure. Solid kid and hope he gets a shot.

.08% of college football seniors ever make an NFL roster. That is a fact. All will get a chance to workout and tryout for various teams, most division 1 players do. but unless the scouts are flying in and out of Eastern Washington and banging on someone's door, I wouldn't count on it.
